May Update: Floorball community in Dubai thrives despite challenges

Hey Floorball entusiast!

We hope this post finds you well and filled with excitement for the month ahead. It’s time for our May update.

The month of April was not easy, and we faced some hurdles. Our practices were scheduled at 9:30 PM, but it turns out, that was too late for most of our players. We listened to your feedback and decided to move our sessions earlier to 8:00 PM.

Now, let’s talk about the curveballs Mother Nature threw our way. Dubai’s weather decided to go a bit wild, causing some serious rain issues and flooding across the city. Unfortunately, that meant we had to cancel our sessions for a while. Safety first, right?

That resulted in us not having any practice during April, but we hit the floor running on April 30th and May 2nd, with more than 10 players showing up for each training! Talk about dedication.

Now, here’s the exciting part. We’re keeping the ball rolling. Our sessions are locked in for every Thursday at 8 pm. That’s right, mark your calendars, folks! For the future, if we continue with this success, we’ve got big plans to expand to other days of the week. So, keep showing your interest, and follow us on Instagram, Tiktok and facebook!

And speaking of expansion, we have some exciting news to share. The plans to expand include offering corporate membership packages. What’s really inspiring is seeing our community come together, rain or shine (literally). Despite the setbacks, we’re more determined than ever to grow, learn, and have a blast playing floorball together.
